Science and a love for bees is what started this company. We are a small family and veteran-owned business with a passion for life! Our aim is to provide sustainable honey bees to the Tallahassee region and foster a love for bees among all those with whom we interact.
Lee "Doc Wild" Bushong
Dr. Lee Bushong is a University of Florida certified Master Beekeeper. He is a forensic scientist, husband, and father of six. He spent most of his life in Southwest Florida. Now he and his family raises and keeps honey bees in the Tallahassee area. His interests are in providing a stock that can weather the effects of hive pests, such as the varroa mite and small hive beetle, while demonstrating a high-yield honey productivity with a gentle disposition. His passion is found in sustainable queen rearing.
